<p><strong>Ceto Talent are representing a well-known global energy EPCI contractor</strong> in the search for an experienced <strong>Senior Project Engineer / Offshore Methods Engineer (Lead – Pipelines)</strong> to support a major UK Carbon Capture project.</p><p><br><br>The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.<br></p><ul><li> South West London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 home) + occasional Teesside visits</li><li> 6–9 Month Contract (strong potential to extend)</li><li> Day Rate: Highly negotiable depending on experience</li><li> Outside IR35</li><li> Start: ASAP</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Purpose of the position:</strong></p><p>This role is suited to a <strong>Senior Project Engineer</strong> with a strong background in offshore pipeline installation and construction methods.</p><p><br></p><p>As an <strong>Offshore Methods Lead / Senior Project Engineer</strong>, you will report into the Installation Methods Manager and play a key role in delivering a major Carbon Capture & Net Zero project. You will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the methods engineering function, ensuring technical delivery is achieved efficiently, safely, and in line with project objectives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Some of your responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a <strong>Senior Project Engineer</strong>, leading and coordinating the methods engineering team and technical output</li><li>Administer and implement the working programme in line with design, specifications, and project plans</li><li>Interpret, implement, and improve proposed design solutions</li><li>Oversee document control processes including review, distribution, and filing systems</li><li>Review procedures, reports, and calculations to ensure all deliverables meet requirements</li><li>Maintain close technical coordination with the Client, including attending interface meetings</li><li>Provide technical support to offshore installation teams and vessel management</li><li>Ensure installation records, checklists, and documentation are completed and handed to QC</li><li>Support critical offshore activities, ensuring execution aligns with methodology and capturing lessons learned</li><li>Attend site when required to carry out inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Project scope:</strong></p><ul><li>Rigid offshore pipelines</li><li>Above Water Tie-Ins (AWTI)</li><li>Client-side engineering, documentation, and approval processes</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><ul><li>Experience operating at <strong>Senior Project Engineer level</strong> within offshore construction or pipeline installation projects</li><li>Proven background xwzovoh in <strong>construction methods engineering</strong>, particularly pipeline landfall / installation</li><li>Strong experience within <strong>Energy or Oil & Gas project environments</strong></li><li>Experience working on <strong>client-side engineering, approvals, and technical documentation</strong></li><li>Ability to coordinate across engineering teams, offshore crews, and stakeholders</li><li>Relevant <strong>engineering degree or diploma</strong></li><li><strong>OEUK Medical</strong> (or willingness to obtain)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This is a time-critical hire for a Senior Project Engineer to support a major UK energy transition project, with strong potential for extension as work progresses into execution.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>For more information or to apply, contact:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Jasmine White</p><p>Ceto Talent</p><p> </p><p> Phone & WhatsApp)</p>
