Senior / Principal Civil Structural Engineer

<p>Job Description</p><br>Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.<br><p>Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Principal Civil & Structural Engineer to join their growing team, specialising in structural engineering projects in rail infrastructure.</p><p>Duties:</p><ul><li>Technical leadership</li><li>Team and project management - Key member of the structural design teams through all the project stages</li><li>Undertake structural design for projects including rail infrastructure</li><li>Comply with design standards and undertake and manage the drawings, specifications, and design deliverables</li><li>Client and business engagement - Act as structural engineering contact and build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a design consultancy. xwzovoh </li><li>Proficiency in design software and a high level of computer literacy.</li><li>Knowledge of UK design codes, standards and industry specifications</li><li>Membership of a relevant professional body (ICE or IStructE) or near chartered status</li><li>A current clean UK driving license is advantageous</li></ul>
