<p><strong>Job Title: </strong> <strong>Senior Platform Engineer (AWS) – Data Platform Focus</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Hybrid, 2days/week onsite-London, UK</strong></p><p><strong>Duration: 6Months+ Contract Outside IR35</strong></p><p><strong>520GBP/Day Outside IR35</strong></p><p><br><br>If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.<br></p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are hiring a Senior Platform Engineer (AWS) to work on a large project focused on moving data to AWS and building a modern data platform.</p><p>The role is mainly platform and DevOps focused, with some involvement in data migration and data pipelines.</p><p>We’re looking for someone who is strong in AWS, infrastructure, and automation, and can help build a scalable and reliable platform. This is a senior role, so you’ll play an important part in strengthening the team and supporting delivery.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design and implement scalable AWS platform architecture to support data migration and ingestion</li><li>Deliver platform engineering and infrastructure solutions (IaC, networking, security, environments)</li><li>Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps frameworks</li><li>Support migration of enterprise databases into AWS using DMS and CDC patterns</li><li>Ensure automation, scalability, and resilience across platform and data pipelines</li><li>Enable event-driven and batch processing architectures (e.g., S3, Lambda)</li><li>Enforce engineering standards and best practices across the platform</li><li>Ensure data lineage, cataloguing, and governance are maintained</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to technical decision-making</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience as a Platform Engineer / Cloud Engineer / DevOps xwzovoh Engineer</li><li>Proven expertise in AWS (S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, DMS)</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code)</li><li>Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Solid programming skills in Python and SQL</li><li>Experience supporting or working with data platforms and ingestion pipelines</li><li>Experience with data migration and CDC approaches</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Priyanka Sharma</strong></p><p><strong>Senior Delivery Consultant</strong></p><p>Office: </p><p>Email: </p>
