Known for delivering major landmark projects, the company has built a reputation for technical excellence, strong client partnerships, and consistent delivery.</p><p><br></p><p>With a strong pipeline of large-scale developments, this is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation offering long-term career progression and the chance to work on some of London’s most prestigious projects.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>The business is currently delivering a £30M&E commercial new build project in Central London and requires an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to take full responsibility for the mechanical package.</p><p>This is a high-impact leadership role, offering autonomy, visibility, and long-term development opportunities within a major M&E contractor.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the full mechanical package, ensuring all work meets the highest technical, quality, and compliance standards.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with all design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes, driving best practice across the project.</li><li>Provide clear and regular progress updates to the Project Director, ensuring alignment on milestones.</li><li>Add value to the design process by challenging methodology, improving buildability, and reducing whole-life cost where possible.</li><li>Build and manage strong working relationships with subcontractors, consultants, main contractors, and wider engineering teams.</li><li>Oversee procurement, resourcing, and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery.</li><li>Ensure high-quality installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of all mechanical systems.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills & Background</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience running multiple £10M+ M&E commercial new build projects through the full lifecycle.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services within large-scale commercial environments.</li><li>Demonstrable leadership experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors.</li><li>Excellent understanding of procurement, project controls, installation methodologies, and commissioning processes.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.</li><li>Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced project environments while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards. xwzovoh </li><li>Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or industry-recognised certifications.</li></ul>
