This opportunity has arisen due to both expansion and an upcoming retirement, making it a genuinely rare senior-level opening.Your new roleAs the Mechanical Design Lead, you will take responsibility for delivering and overseeing mechanical building services design across a varied project portfolio.Your role will include:</p><ul><li>Leading mechanical design work, from concept through to delivery</li><li>Producing and reviewing calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports</li><li>Coordinating with internal teams, architects, and contractors</li><li>Supporting tenders, proposals, and technical submissions</li><li>Mentoring and developing junior/intermediate engineers</li><li>Helping to shape and grow an expanding design team</li></ul><p>You will be based in the office full-time, working within a close-knit and supportive technical team.What you'll need to succeedYou will have a strong background in mechanical building services design and the confidence to take technical ownership.
