Join a world-renowned aerospace and defence organisation as a Senior HVAC Engineer hybrid onsite in Scotstoun Would you like to join a global aerospace and defence organisation? Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Senior HVAC Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Scotstoun on a 12 month contract.<br><br>Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.<br><br>Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.<br><br>The package: Senior HVAC Engineer Scotstoun<br>- hybrid 1-2 days per week UMB £50-60 per hour inside IR35 Initially 12 months likely to extend The role The Senior HVAC Engineer will lead the design, integration, and technical assurance of numerous HVAC systems across a complex marine platform.<br><br>Duties <br>* Preparing specifications and developing HVAC system designs in accordance with project requirements, technical standards, and quality expectations.<br><br>This includes Heat Load Calculations, Psychrometrics, Pressure Drop Calculations and Single Line Diagrams (schematics).<br>* Carry out design appraisals in assigned areas to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and design criteria.<br>* Participating in the development, maintenance, and modification of engineering processes and procedures relating to HVAC distribution systems, ensuring they remain aligned with technical developments, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.<br><br>Experience <br>* Experience in engineering or a defence related industry.<br>* Has worked in typically two phases of the product lifecycle in the defence/maritime industry.<br>* Has sufficient experience of the total product lifecycle to enable a good understanding of adjacent phases and through life engineering issues.<br>* Knowledge of processes and tools used in Marine Engineering.<br>* Experience in Supplier Management.<br>* Experience writing technical specifications.<br><br>Skills: <br>* Microsoft Office Suite / Autocad / Foran.<br>* Experience and expertise, in marine HVAC systems or Building Services HVAC System design.<br>* Experience in the design, build, integration, support and operation of Naval ships.<br><br>Background This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global business that has developed a strategy of working closely with its contingent workforce. xwzovoh <br><br>Within the role, you can expect to: Work on complex, cutting-edge projects Achieve a work/life balance Develop your skills APPLY NOW If this sounds like the role for you, we'd love to hear from you!
