<p><strong>Senior Engineer – Highways / Earthworks (Contract)</strong></p><p><br><br>Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.<br></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Lincoln | <strong>Duration:</strong> 6‑Month Contract | <strong>Rate:</strong> £55 per hour | <strong>Working Pattern:</strong> Site‑Based (5 Days)</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently supporting a live highways road scheme in Lincoln and are seeking a Senior Engineer to support construction delivery on site.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a hands‑on, site‑based role, suited to an experienced engineer with a strong design background who is comfortable overseeing and challenging works during construction.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p><br></p><p>You will be working on a live road scheme with responsibility for construction‑stage engineering oversight, with particular focus on:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Earthworks supervision, including bulk earthworks and cut & fill</li><li>Bridge and foundation works</li><li>Oversight of construction activities to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications</li><li>Liaison with contractors and the wider project team</li><li>Providing engineering judgement and technical input on site</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Please note: This is not a ground investigation (GI) role.
