<p><strong>Senior Cloud Engineer - Full time Role - Up to £65,000</strong></p><p><br><br>All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying.<br></p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>An established and fast-growing technology services provider is seeking a <strong>Senior Cloud Engineer</strong> to deliver cloud and network solutions across a diverse client base. This role involves a mix of project delivery, technical escalation, and client-facing support, requiring strong technical expertise alongside excellent communication and organisational skills.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver and implement cloud and network projects (including Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, and Intune)</li><li>Act as a senior escalation point for complex 3rd line technical issues across infrastructure, servers, and networking</li><li>Provide support services to both contracted and non-contracted clients, ensuring SLA compliance</li><li>Assist with pre-sales activities, including technical design, surveys, and solution recommendations</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery</li><li>Recommend and contribute to improvements in technical processes and service delivery</li><li>Support and mentor junior engineers where required</li><li>Participate in out-of-hours support on a rota basis (optional)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>3–5 years’ experience delivering cloud and infrastructure projects</li><li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint Online, and Intune</li><li>Solid understanding of networking, servers, virtualisation, storage, and security</li><li>Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and desktop issues</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet service deadlines</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team xwzovoh </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications (any of the following or equivalent)</strong></p><ul><li>Degree or diploma in IT / Computer Science</li><li>CompTIA Network+</li><li>Microsoft certifications (e.g. MCP, MCSE, Azure Administrator)</li><li>Cisco CCNA</li><li>VMware Certified Professional (VCP)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>24–30 days holiday + bank holidays</li><li>Private healthcare & death in service cover</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Mileage reimbursement for business travel</li><li>£500 home working allowance</li><li>Ongoing training and development opportunities</li></ul>
