<p><strong>Senior BMS Commissioning Engineer</strong></p><br>Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.<br><p><strong>London & Southeast</strong></p><p><strong>£50,000 - £70,000 + Car/Allowance + Excellent Benefits</strong></p><p>An established and growing building controls specialist is looking to appoint an experienced Senior BMS Commissioning Engineer to support a strong pipeline of projects across London and the Southeast.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with hands-on commissioning experience across Trend, Tridium, Schneider or Siemens systems to join a highly regarded business delivering large-scale commercial and mixed-use projects.</p><p>Working closely with Project Managers and the wider commissioning team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality BMS solutions from commissioning through to final handover.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As a Senior BMS Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Commissioning BMS systems across commercial and mixed-use projects</li><li>Carrying out testing, validation and functional performance checks</li><li>Ensuring systems are operating in line with project specifications and client requirements</li><li>Configuring, programming and testing Trend, Tridium, Schneider or Siemens systems</li><li>Diagnosing and resolving commissioning issues efficiently on site</li><li>Leading commissioning activities across multiple projects</li><li>Supporting and mentoring junior commissioning engineers where required</li><li>Supporting installation teams and subcontractors with technical guidance</li><li>Ensuring seamless integration between BMS and wider building services</li><li>Producing commissioning documentation, reports and test records</li><li>Providing regular project updates to management teams</li><li>Ensuring all commissioning activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations</li></ul><p><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will have:</p><ul><li>Proven experience commissioning Building Management Systems</li><li>Strong knowledge of Trend, Tridium, Schneider or Siemens systems</li><li>Previous experience working within commercial BMS environments</li><li>Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Strong communication and organisational skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and take ownership of commissioning activities on site</li><li>Experience managing commissioning phases on medium to large-scale projects</li><li>Good understanding of commissioning software and tools</li></ul><p><strong>Certifications Required</strong></p><ul><li>Certification in Trend, Tridium, Delta or Schneider systems</li><li>BCIA 01, 02 & 03 minimum</li><li>Electrical safety awareness training</li></ul><p>Additional manufacturer certifications would be advantageous.</p><p><strong>Package & Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Salary between £60,000 - £75,000 depending on experience</li><li>Company vehicle (Electric or Hybrid)</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Death in Service policy</li><li>UK healthcare cash benefit</li><li>Enhanced sickness pay</li><li>Enhanced maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption leave</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme</li><li>Cycle to Work scheme</li><li>Ongoing training and development opportunities</li></ul><p><strong>Location</strong></p><p>Projects are based across London and the Southeast, so candidates should be comfortable travelling throughout the region. xwzovoh </p><p>To apply or discuss the opportunity further, please submit your CV or call Damien on for a confidential conversation.</p>
