Title: Senior Backend Engineer (Node, TypeScript, AWS)<br><br>Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.<br>Salary: Up to £80,000 plus bonus<br>Location: Fully Remote (UK)<br>Are you a Senior Backend Developer who wants to own features end-to-end and build products used at scale?<br>We're working with a fast-growing, product-led tech business looking for a Node.js / TypeScript expert to join a high-performing squad. You'll play a key role in shaping, building, and scaling core product features, from concept through to release and beyond.<br>This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll combine strong backend development with architecture input, best practice, and real ownership.<br>What you'll be doing:<br>Design, build and ship high-quality backend features end-to-end<br>Take ownership of services from concept ? production ? optimisation<br>Develop scalable APIs using Node.js / TypeScript<br>Work closely with Product, Design and Tech Leads on roadmap and delivery<br>Improve deployment, testing and engineering standards across the team<br>Mentor others and champion best practices and clean code<br>Tech stack:<br>Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript<br>AWS (ECS, CDK, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB)<br>REST APIs, HTTP, JSON services<br>SQL (Postgres / T-SQL / Presto)<br>Automated testing (Jest)<br>CI/CD (GitHub Actions / similar)<br>What you get:<br>Salary up to 80k plus bonus<br>Fully Remote working<br>25 days holiday plus bank holidays<br>10% pension<br>Private medical cover<br>And more! xwzovoh <br>Our client has a very swift 2 stage interview process and they're looking to move very quickly!<br>If you're interested in this role, or know anyone who would be, then please apply to this advert and contact a.
