The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team from May 2026.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) while working as part of a welcoming and collaborative school community, where staff are valued and pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential.</p><p>Role Details Location: Barking and Dagenham Start Date: May 2026 Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Pay: £95-£105 per day (dependent on experience)</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)</li><li>Support children with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional needs</li><li>Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs</li><li>Implement positive behaviour strategies and support pupils' emotional wellbeing and regulation</li><li>Help create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment</li><li>Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and wider support staff to monitor and support pupil progress</li></ul><p>The Ideal Candidate Will:</p><ul><li>Have experience supporting children with SEN in xwzovoh a school or similar setting</li><li>Be patient, empathetic, and resilient</li><li>Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs</li><li>Be able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents</li><li>Be proactive and committed to helping every child succeed</li></ul><p>If you are enthusiastic, caring, and ready to make a real impact within a fantastic primary school, we would love to hear from you.</p><p>Apply today, and a member of our team will be in touch shortly to discuss the role and arrange trial days with the school.</p>
