This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.</p><p>You will play a key role in delivering tailored, high-quality teaching that supports every child’s individual learning journey and helps them reach their full potential.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs</li><li>Develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)</li><li>Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment</li><li>Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals</li><li>Monitor, assess and report on student progress</li><li>Manage behaviour positively using appropriate strategies</li><li>Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community</li></ul><p>About You</p><p>We are looking for someone who:</p><ul><li>Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)</li><li>Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable)</li><li>Demonstrates strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies</li><li>Is patient, empathetic, and resilient</li><li>Has excellent communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children</li></ul><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>A supportive and collaborative working environment</li><li>Ongoing professional development and training opportunities</li><li>Access to specialist resources and support staff</li><li>Opportunities for career progression</li><li>A rewarding role where you can make a real difference</li></ul><p>All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
