<p>Job Description</p><br>Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.<br><p>Your new companyAn academy within a large trust of schools based in CV9, is looking to appoint an HR Administrator to support their HR Team on a temp / FTC basis across three of their sites.</p><p>Your new roleThe role is a 10-month contract until March 2027. The cover is Monday to Friday, term time, 8.30am - 3pm. As an integral member of the HR team, the post-holder will assist the Regional HR Business Partner, taking responsibility for HR administration within three academies. The role is hybrid with travel to two other locations - Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme.About the role:</p><ul><li>Support recruitment activity across the setting, working with Recruitment Coordinators where required.</li><li>Maintain accurate employee information across HR systems, including data entry, routine and ad-hoc reporting, and supporting the annual data cleansing process.</li><li>Ensure colleagues and line managers can easily access and follow ATT HR policies and procedures.</li><li>Oversee the administration of the probation process.</li><li>Support the staff induction process to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience.</li><li>Assist in managing the holiday booking process for permanent staff.</li><li>Maintain organised and up-to-date personnel files (both paper and electronic).</li><li>Liaise with Payroll to ensure all new starters, leavers and contractual changes are processed correctly.</li><li>Process staff changes and leaver documentation, arranging exit interviews where needed.</li><li>Produce HR correspondence such as contract variations, maternity letters and holiday entitlement letters using standard templates.</li><li>Minute taking at formal HR meetings, including disciplinary, capability and grievance hearings.</li><li>Monitor fixed-term contracts and ensure timely follow-up actions.</li></ul><p>What you'll need to succeed</p><ul><li>Previous experience in an HR or administrative role</li><li>Driving licence</li><li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively</li><li>Excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Confident communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels</li><li>A proactive approach, working on own initiative.</li><li>Strong IT skills, including experience working with HR systems and Microsoft Office</li><li>A discreet and professional approach when handling sensitive information</li><li>A genuine interest in supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive working environment</li></ul><p>What you'll get in returnAs well as receiving a competitive rate of pay, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an outstanding school.
