School Data Protection Consultant/ICT Specialist - UK only

We are looking for a consultant who understands the "inner workings" of a school to help deliver our data protection framework. </p><p><br></p><p>We are especially interested in someone with ICT experience at a multi-academy trust level with a good understanding of cyber security and the DfE Digital Standards, though we are open to other experiences. This may include standalon cyber assessments.</li><li><strong>Content Contribution:</strong> Help develop policies and best-practice guidance for our online Knowledge Bank in the area of ICT, cyber security and digital standards. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We are looking for "strong personalities" who understand the schools and MATs and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo. You are likely a match if you fit one of these profiles:</p><ul><li>An experienced School Business Manager (SBM), IT Manager, or simliar.</li><li>An existing DPO, compliance or Information Governance professional.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>UK Travel:</strong> You <strong>must</strong> be able to visit schools across the UK (1-2 days a week during term time, occasionally involving an overnight stay).
