<p><strong>SCADA Termination Engineer - Solar PV - Contract (Outside IR35) - Dover (On Site)</strong></p><p><br><br>Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.<br></p><p><strong>Role:</strong> SCADA Termination Engineer </p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Dover, on site Monday to Friday 4/5 days per week Flexible </p><p><strong>Contract:</strong> 2 months outside IR35, with potential to extend or convert to permanent </p><p><strong>Rate:</strong> Negotiable, dependent on experience. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p><br></p><p>A growing engineering and project delivery business is seeking an experienced SCADA Termination Engineer to join a major solar PV commissioning project in Dover. This is an urgent requirement with an immediate start needed.</p><p><br></p><p>The role is fully site based and hands on, focused on completing SCADA, Modbus and optical fibre terminations across a 53 inverter solar PV installation as part of a fast moving delivery programme. You will work closely alongside LV and MV electrical engineers on site and report directly to the project lead</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Complete SCADA cable terminations across the full site installation including Modbus communication cables and optical fibre connections</li><li>Carry out terminations across 53 inverters to SCADA and communications systems</li><li>Work from electrical drawings, schematics and termination schedules</li><li>Support installation, testing and commissioning activities across the site</li><li>Liaise closely with LV and MV electrical engineers to coordinate termination and connection schedules</li><li>Ensure all work is completed to site and industry standards</li><li>Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures throughout</li><li>Report directly to the project lead and contribute to hitting key project milestones</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Proven SCADA termination experience on solar PV or renewable energy projects</li><li>Hands on experience with optical fibre termination and Modbus communication cabling</li><li>Strong understanding of SCADA architecture, PLCs and industrial communications protocols</li><li>Solar PV inverter commissioning experience highly desirable xwzovoh </li><li>Network engineering background with SCADA site experience also considered</li><li>Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and termination schedules</li><li>ECS Card essential</li><li>SMSTS or SSSTS certification essential</li><li>Full driving licence required</li><li>Able to commit to a Monday to Friday on site schedule in Dover from immediate start</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Full site-based role in Dover</li><li>Schedule and shift expectations to be confirmed upon appointment</li><li>Opportunity to support a key infrastructure delivery project</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>For more information or to apply, please get in touch directly or email </strong></p>
