<p>Job Description</p><br>Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.<br><p>Sales Order Processor</p><p>Salary: Up to £28,500 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pmLocation: Hull (office-based)</p><p>The Role</p><p>We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales Order Processor to join a busy internal sales team within a well-established manufacturing business. This is a fast-paced and varied position, ideal for someone who enjoys working under pressure and providing excellent customer service.</p><p>The successful candidate will be motivated, organised, and keen to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high levels of accuracy.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Processing customer orders and sales quotations accurately and efficiently</li><li>Serving customers at the trade counter and advising on products</li><li>Handling incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner</li><li>Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with customers</li><li>Liaising with colleagues to support team productivity and meet deadlines</li><li>Maintaining and updating internal systems and records to support sales activity</li><li>Assisting with stock control and stock taking</li><li>Developing a strong understanding of the company’s product range</li><li>Supporting warehouse operations during busy periods, including loading/unloading vehicles (forklift licence desirable)</li></ul><p>About You</p><ul><li>Strong IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Excel and Word, alongside internal systems</li><li>Excellent organisational xwzovoh and time management skills</li><li>A self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>A professional approach with a commitment to delivering high standards of customer service</li><li>Previous experience within a similar role or a basic understanding of construction (desirable)</li></ul><p>What’s on Offer</p><ul><li>Competitive salary up to £28,500</li><li>Friendly and supportive team environment</li><li>Opportunities for training and career development</li></ul>
