You’ll be joining a team that loves what they do and supports one another every step of the way. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong> </p><p>As an Event Sales Manager, you’ll take full ownership of 2–3 major B2B events per year, along with their associated media, newsletter, and digital platforms. This is a 360° commercial role where you’ll manage the full sales cycle, key client relationships, and deliver an exceptional event experience from start to finish. </p><p>This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who wants ownership, autonomy, and uncapped earning potential. </p><p><br></p><p>Your day might include: </p><p><br></p><ul><li>Managing your own event revenue and achieving/exceeding sales targets </li><li>Building a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, cold calling, and targeted campaigns </li><li>Running confident consultative sales calls with new and existing clients </li><li>Developing relationships with decision-makers and negotiating high-value deals </li><li>Using CRM and sales processes effectively and consistently </li><li>Leading pre-event planning, communication, and commercial delivery </li><li>Working closely with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met </li><li>Delivering an exceptional onsite experience and securing a strong rebook percentage </li><li>Attending industry events to build networks and understand market trends </li><li>Supporting other events across the wider portfolio as needed </li></ul><p><br></p><p> </p><p><strong>Who You Are</strong> </p><p>You’re a driven, commercially minded sales professional who wants autonomy, ownership, and the ability to earn well above your basic salary. xwzovoh </p><p><br></p><p>You are: </p><p><br></p><ul><li>Experienced (minimum 2 years B2B sales, preferably events, media, or subscriptions) </li><li>Proven in meeting and exceeding revenue targets </li><li>Confident on the phone and great at building rapport quickly </li><li>Strong in negotiation, objection handling, and closing deals </li><li>Able to manage both new business development and ongoing client accounts </li><li>Organised, proactive, and comfortable owning your pipeline </li><li>Motivated by success, progression, and financial reward </li><li>A positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment </li></ul><p> </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional skills ideal for this role</strong> </p><ul><li>Ability to run discovery calls and deliver persuasive sales presentations </li><li>Comfortable hosting virtual or in-person client meetings </li><li>Strong commercial awareness and ability to position value-based solutions </li><li>Skilled in using LinkedIn and digital tools for outreach and lead generation </li><li>Able to adapt quickly to industry changes and event requirements </li><li>Confidence in handling long sales cycles with multiple decision-makers </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The Perks</strong> </p><ul><li>Salary: Up to £30K </li><li><strong>OTE:</strong> £50,000+ with uncapped overperformance commission </li><li>Holiday allowance 23 days in addition to all UK bank holidays. </li><li>Your Birthday off! </li><li>Additional earnings directly tied to percentage over target </li><li>Clear career progression through the Forum Academy </li><li>Hybrid working (2 WFH days per week) </li><li>Monthly team incentives & rewards </li><li>Access to the Elite Sales Achievement Club </li><li>Extra annual leave based on loyalty </li><li>Company-wide Summer & Christmas events </li><li>Free onsite parking </li><li>A positive, high-energy environment where ambition is rewarded </li></ul>
