<p>Job Description</p><br>Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.<br><p>We are seeking experienced Youth Residential Support Workers to provide care and safeguarding for young people in mainstream residential settings.</p><p>This is a temporary, ad-hoc role with flexible shifts, including earlies, lates, sleep-ins, and waking nights.</p><p>You will support young people in the care system, helping them build independence and resilience while managing complex needs and risks.</p><p>Key Details: Pay: £14.82 with uplifts for wake nights and weekends</p><p>Location: Cranmer Bank, Leeds</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Provide person-centred care and emotional support to young people.</li><li>Monitor and manage ligature risks and follow safety protocols.</li><li>Assist with daily routines, education support, and personal care.</li><li>Maintain accurate records, care plans, and risk assessments.</li><li>Respond to incidents and follow safeguarding procedures.</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>At least 1 year of experience in a similar setting (residential childcare, youth support, or related).</li><li>Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management.</li><li>Ligature Training or Suicide prevention and awareness training.</li><li>Experience in Mental Health Secure settings. xwzovoh </li></ul><p>If you are interested please apply today!</p>
