This role has a <u>clear career pathway</u> and can develop into a technical lead or multi-brand senior or director level technical operations role</p><p><strong><u>DUTIES</u></strong></p><p>You will work across 4 key passenger car brands</p><p>• Ensure vehicles meet the technical, quality and UK and EU regulatory requirements</p><p>• Develop production vehicles to support diagnostics, software updates, vehicle testing, product evaluation and engineering investigations.</p><p>• Perform advanced diagnostics and fault investigation on development and production vehicles.</p><p>• Identify root causes of complex vehicle issues including electrical, electronic, software and mechanical systems.</p><p>• Undertake vehicle testing, validation and product evaluation activities</p><p>• Liaise with the UK After Sales team, dealerships and field technicians to investigate and resolve technical issues</p><p>• Communicate, record and report technical findings, test results and investigation outcomes clearly to R&D and global engineering teams.</p><p>• Travel to dealerships across the UK to support technical investigations, dealership support, testing activities and engineering events</p><p><strong><u>REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Experience working as a Master Technician or Senior Automotive Technician.</p><p>• A background in vehicle electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.</p><p>• Experience using automotive diagnostic tools and performing ECU programming / software updates. xwzovoh </p><p>• Knowledge of electric vehicles, hybrid powertrains or ADAS technologies.( Ideally )</p><p>• Experience working with prototype or pre-production vehicles ( ideally ) .</p><p>(Fluent spoken Mandarin would be helpful )</p>
