Whether you already have radar experience or come from a related field like DSP, sonar, or communications, we’re open to candidates who are eager to develop and grow.</p><p>We’re looking for a <strong>Radar Systems Engineer</strong> for a hands-on, technically challenging role where you’ll work at the intersection of <strong>signal processing, mathematical modelling, and real-world system performance</strong>.</p><p>You’ll play a key role in designing and improving radar systems, working closely with internal engineering teams and external partners to deliver cutting-edge solutions.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Develop <strong>mathematical models</strong> of radar systems and sub-systems using MATLAB and Simulink</li><li>Design and implement <strong>digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms</strong> to enhance radar performance</li><li>Analyse radar performance data, including trial results, and produce technical reports</li><li>Support <strong>hardware and software validation</strong>, working closely with FPGA and development teams</li><li>Provide technical input and specifications for system design and development</li><li>Investigate and resolve real-world performance issues in deployed systems</li><li>Research and develop <strong>new algorithms and radar concepts</strong></li><li>Collaborate with suppliers to ensure system performance requirements are met</li><li>Prepare and present technical material to internal stakeholders and external customers</li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><p>Essential Skills & Experience</p><ul><li>Degree (BSc/MSc) in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline</li><li>Experience with <strong>MATLAB</strong> and <strong>digital signal processing</strong></li><li>Knowledge of radar or related domains (e.g. sonar, communications, image processing)</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to deliver technical work to deadlines</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Self-motivated with xwzovoh a collaborative mindset</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with radar techniques such as <strong>Pulse Compression, Doppler Filtering, CFAR</strong></li><li>Knowledge of <strong>radar signal/image processing, tracking, or phased array systems</strong></li><li>Exposure to <strong>FPGA, embedded systems, or Linux environments</strong></li><li>Understanding of RF systems, antennas, or radar electronics</li><li>Experience with <strong>Python, C/C++</strong>, or other programming languages</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>version control (Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Interested?
