<p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>The Quality Engineer & HSE Co-ordinator ensures the effective implementation of the Quality Management System and certification of processes according to implemented standards.</p><p>The role involves ensuring that local processes needed for the QHSE Management System are established and maintained and training the organization in the Management System.</p><p><br><br>Hit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.<br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Set targets, activities and drive follow up of the annual road map/action plans to improve QHSE, aligned with EMEA strategy and plans and other mandatory documents.</li><li>Support with continuous improvement projects.</li><li>Facilitate site-specific risk reviews.</li><li>Monitor laws and regulations linked to QHSE in the business, plan and support the implementation of necessary measures to meet current and future legislation.</li><li>Perform supplier audits where needed.</li><li>Support production with Q topics.</li><li>Plan and ensure that internal audits and external audits are performed according to the plan for ISO 9001.</li><li>Issue quality related non-conformity reports and follow up of these. (Internal, supplier and customer related)</li><li>Follow-up of COPQ for the site.</li><li>Follow-up and perform in collaboration with external parties the type test qualifications and renewals.</li><li>Register and control the equipment for calibration.</li><li>Register and control the lifting equipment.</li><li>Register and control portable machines and Forklifts vehicles.</li><li>Drive and hands-on support the organization to continuously improve HSE.</li><li>Plan and ensure that internal and external audits, and other obligatory HSE-related inspections and controls are performed according to the plan.</li><li>Systematically identify, assess and document environmental, health and safety, and fire safety risks and develop processes and action plans to mitigate the risks.</li><li>Identify and make sure necessary trainings for employees related to HSE, including mandatory refreshing/updating training.</li><li>Develop and hands-on support the implementation of proactive safety tools and activities on site, such as hazard identification, near miss reporting, fault rectification, safety alert stand-downs, toolbox talks, BBS etc.</li><li>Summarize and analyze historical HSE related data and KPIs in order to be able to prioritize the future. xwzovoh </li><li>Attend group-wide safety resource group(s), contribute to monthly data collection and reporting.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Technical degree (e.g. Industrial engineer) or equal by experience</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Precise, analytical and structured</li><li>Detail-oriented and data-driven</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Results oriented</li><li>Customer focus</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Language</strong></p><ul><li>English</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Characteristics</strong></p><ul><li>Builds credibility by rolling up their sleeves and being visible regularly in operational areas</li><li>Leads by example rather than managing from reports</li><li>Is comfortable in challenging poor practices and influencing change</li><li>Teaches teams <strong>why</strong> quality and health & safety matters, not just issues a procedure</li><li>Is resilient and demonstrates integrity during times of pressure, conflict and non-conformance</li><li>Demonstrates and upholds fairness, consistency and teamwork</li></ul>
