Through innovation, science, technology, and maintaining a clear focus on people, we make mobility possible.</p><p><br></p><p>We have an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Quality Control Technician</strong> to be based at our brand-new, state-of-the-art, manufacturing site in Basingstoke. </p><p><br></p><p>Hours: Double day shifts, 6am – 2pm/2pm- 10pm</p><p><strong>What can we off you? </strong></p><p><br></p><p>As <strong>Quality Control Technician</strong>, you will receive the following:</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Competitive salary + 30% shift allowance </li><li>25 days holiday – increased after service.</li><li>Option to purchase additional holiday.</li><li>Pension</li><li>On Demand Pay</li><li>Health cash plan</li><li>Discounted shopping/leisure activity vouchers</li><li>Cycle to work scheme.</li><li>Opportunity to be part of an award-winning organisation with a culture that centres around our core values; courage, learning, integrity, collaboration, and innovation.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>The role:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As <strong>Quality Control Technician</strong>, you will inspect manufactured and purchased products in accordance with company drawings & specifications. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key duties and responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Metrology inspection of purchased and manufactured products in accordance with Drawings, processes, internal documentation and any other requirements.</li><li>Inspecting components using QC equipment – micrometres, verniers, gauges etc</li><li>Inspecting components using QC preprogrammed equipment – CMM and VMM</li><li>Supporting NPD with parts/products requiring inspection and reports.</li><li>Liaising with the relevant technical authority on any technical issue.</li><li>Supporting MRB Reviews when necessary.</li><li>Supporting CAPA investigations, internally & externally as and when required.</li><li>Performing and/or supporting Gauge R&R or MSA reviews in line with company requirements.</li><li>Supporting calibration when necessary.</li><li>Supporting both Internal & External audits. xwzovoh </li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As <strong>Quality Control Technician,</strong> you will have the following:</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key skills and experience:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>HNC or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline</li><li>Trained and experienced in the use of CMM and VMM</li><li>Experience in machining and milling, ideally within the medical or aerospace sector</li><li>Familiar with GD&T and confident in a variety of metrology equipment ranging from a micrometre to CMM/VMM</li><li>Ability to read drawings and determine the method of inspection. </li><li>Ability to write Inspection Reports</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Team player</li></ul>
