<p><strong>QA Consultant (Contract)</strong></p><p><br><br>If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.<br></p><p><strong>Day Rate:</strong> £340 per day (inside IR35 equivalent)</p><p><strong>Contract Length:</strong> Initial 3 months</p><p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Hybrid – occasional travel (1–2 times per month to a UK hub location</p><p><strong>Available hub locations include:</strong></p><p>London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Blackpool, Cardiff</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>QA Consultant</strong> to support the delivery of high-quality digital services within a large-scale public sector environment.</p><p>This role is ideal for a hands-on QA professional with strong automation and performance testing experience, who can work collaboratively within agile delivery teams.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts</li><li>Ensure quality across the full software development lifecycle</li><li>Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and delivery teams</li><li>Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines</li><li>Conduct performance testing and contribute to test strategy</li><li>Identify defects, risks, and areas for improvement</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience in <strong>test automation</strong> using:</li><li>Java</li><li>Selenium</li><li>Cucumber</li><li>Playwright</li><li>Experience in <strong>performance xwzovoh testing</strong></li><li>Proven ability to work in agile delivery environments</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities</li><li>Experience working within a <strong>government or public sector organisation</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><ul><li>Candidates must be eligible to undergo <strong>BPSS clearance</strong></li><li>Occasional travel to a UK hub office is required (1–2 times per month)</li></ul>
