The organisation is continuing to invest in its people, processes, and facilities as part of its long-term growth strategy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>An opportunity has arisen for an experienced QHSE Manager to join my client's team to drive forward the next stage of their QHSE strategy.</p><p><br></p><p>Reporting to the Operations & Systems Director, this hands-on role will take responsibility for all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational standards across the business.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and maintain QHSE systems and procedures across both sites</li><li>Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and ISO standards</li><li>Lead internal and external audits, inspections, and investigations</li><li>Maintain and develop the ISO 9001 Quality Management System</li><li>Support and implement ISO 14001 environmental processes</li><li>Investigate accidents, incidents and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions</li><li>Produce QHSE reports, KPI data and trend analysis for senior management</li><li>Maintain quality records, calibration logs, and procedural documentation</li><li>Chair QHSE and quality meetings</li><li>Provide practical guidance and support to operational teams</li><li>Manage and support the Quality Assurance Technician</li><li>Conduct product inspections and review technical drawings where required</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)</li><li>Minimum xwzovoh 5 years’ QHSE experience within a manufacturing, production, engineering, or warehouse & logistics environment</li><li>Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 systems</li><li>Experience within a hands-on operational environment</li><li>Previous auditing and investigation experience</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings</li><li>Strong communication and organisational skills</li><li>Confident working closely with production and operational teams</li><li>Full UK driving licence</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>£45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience</li><li>25 days holiday plus bank holidays</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Fully site-based role</li><li>Travel to Essex site as required</li></ul>
