You’ll balance strategic leadership with hands-on oversight where required.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Define and implement a unified QA strategy, tools and processes</li><li>Lead, mentor and develop the QA team to maximise performance and growth</li><li>Establish KPIs and drive measurable quality improvements</li><li>Oversee test planning, risk assessment and release readiness</li><li>Ensure defects are clearly identified, tracked, analysed and resolved</li><li>Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to influence design and test coverage</li><li>Identify smarter testing approaches and increase automation where appropriate</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>The Technology Environment:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>The engineering team works across a modern stack of web and back-end applications.</li><li>Most infrastructure sits within a cloud-native environment using IaC approaches.</li><li>The QA function supports testing across web portals, mobile applications, CMS platforms, backend database systems, and cloud infrastructure deployments.</li><li>Automated testing is a key focus.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>What You Need:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>They’re looking for a confident QA Test Engineering Manager and accomplished leader who combines strategic thinking with practical delivery.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Proven experience leading and developing QA Test Engineers</li><li>Strong experience pivoting, defining and implementing QA test strategies</li><li>Strong automation knowledge</li><li>Experience across multiple large-scale products</li><li>Background working within Agile software development environments</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess risk quickly and guide teams through informed decisions</li><li>Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Experience producing clear, structured test plans and reports</li><li>Exposure to regulated environments is desirable</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Why You Should Apply:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>This is your opportunity to lead and shape strategy rather than simply maintain process.
