If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Pyrometry Engineer at our customer embedded site in Wolverhampton.<br><br>Submit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.<br><br>About the Role Joining our team as a Pyrometry Calibration Engineer.<br><br>Key part to this role is the inspection and validation of certificates (Trescal and third party).<br><br>Maintaining relevant records of work, data, and results in a traceable and auditable manner.<br><br>Utilising NADCAP and UKAS to carry out Calibrations and support the customers technical needs.<br><br>You will be responsible for calibrating measuring instrumentation used in Customer accredited processes in accordance with ISO 9001, Company Procedures, and recognised specifications.<br><br>Your key responsibilities will also include: Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good Metrology practice.<br><br>Calibrating measuring instrumentation on a customer site to traceable standards.<br><br>Ensure all certificates and records are completed accurately.<br><br>Participate in customer surveillance and accreditation audits.<br><br>Maintain the availability of the Laboratory standards as dictated by the Head of Quality.<br><br>Perform internal cross comparison audits within the Laboratory as required.<br><br>Produce and audit calibration procedures for use within the Laboratory for customer calibration.<br><br>Develop measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations.<br><br>Conduct all duties in accordance with Company Health and Safety procedures and policies.<br><br>Provide technical support to colleagues on request in line with capability.<br><br>Work unsupervised to approved calibration procedures.<br><br>Understand and utilise calibration procedures and have a good understanding of the importance and application of the AMS2750 standard in calibration.<br><br>Sign certificates in the agreed area of expertise.<br><br>Maintain and produce accurate calibration records enabling the production of calibration certificates Additional reasonable duties as required by the role and Career Level.<br><br>Benefits Competitive salary Continuous development and training plan 25 days holiday and the option to buy/sell days Flexible working options Access to the Trescal PerksHub Employee well-being programme Medical Health Cash Plan Pension and Life Assurance Scheme Cycle to work scheme Gym membership discounts Requirements Have a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above.<br><br>Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.<br><br>Knowledge of Windows-based and laboratory automation software.<br><br>Experience of working within a customer focused environment. xwzovoh <br><br>Good interpersonal and communication skills.<br><br>Ability to work with the minimum of supervision & manage your own workload
