Pump Service & Installation Engineer

<p><strong>MPI are looking for PERMANENT Service & Installation Engineers, for our client based in London</strong></p><p><br><br>Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.<br></p><p><strong>Location</strong></p><p>Ideally London, but will consider Kent, Surrey, Southampton, Reading, Oxford etc.</p><p><br></p><p>HoursTypically, start at 8 and finish at 4:30 however this is work dependent anything over 9 hours a day is paid at over time rates</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Discretionary bonus scheme (8%)</li><li>25 days holiday</li><li>Life assurance</li><li>Healthcare cash plan</li><li>8% bonus (if goals are achieved)</li><li>Overtime, average per engineer at least £5000.00/year.</li><li>£50 per night staying away allowance – if this is needed</li><li>BUPA (Healthcare) after 3 months.</li><li>Use of company vehicle out of hours.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Line Manager: </strong>Service Office Manager</p><p>Direct Reports: N/A</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>In your role as Service and Installation Engineer you will provide all aspects of on-site servicing, repairs and installation works covering domestic and commercial contracts throughout the UK. On call duty and standby may be required on a rotary basis to allow for 24/7 service cover.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>In this role your key responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Understand and adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements</li><li>Maintaining accurate data using a mobile device (customer, asset & contract information)</li><li>Carrying out site surveys and providing relevant information to the office</li><li>Actively be aware of opportunities to promote Client’s Services</li><li>Perform Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems</li><li>Perform advanced fault finding and repairs of pumps and pressurised systems</li><li>Lead and assist with on-site pre – installation surveys and on-site installation of pumps and pressurised systems</li><li>Complete and submit all required paperwork</li><li>Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary</li><li>Provide accurate to the relevant department or Manager</li><li>Provide training and guidance to colleagues</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential qualifications, experience xwzovoh and skills required:</strong></p><ul><li>Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems</li><li>Advanced fault finding and minor repairs of pumps and pressurised systems</li><li>Installations of pumps and pressurised systems</li><li>Knowledge of pumps and pressurised systems</li><li>UK Driving Licence</li><li>Organised and self-motivated</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Customer focused</li><li>A pleasant and friendly ‘can do’ attitude</li><li>Health and Safety training required for the role</li><li>Good time keeping</li><li>Be flexible and adaptable</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Knowledge and skills to develop:</strong></p><ul><li>Further Health and Safety training required for the role</li><li>Further product training as required</li></ul>
