<p><u>PROJECT MANAGER</u></p><p><br><br>Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.<br></p><p>Carbon60 is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to support technical M&E investigations, remediation, and closeout activities across complex facilities in Oxfordshire.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ROLE:</strong> Project Manager - M&E / Building Services</p><p><strong>PAY RATE:</strong> Negotiable</p><p><strong>CONTRACT TYPE:</strong> May – September | 40 hours per week</p><p><strong>LOCATION:</strong> Oxfordshire, UK</p><p><br></p><p>THE ROLE:</p><p>The successful candidate will act as a technical M&E Project Manager focused on investigating, validating, and resolving legacy system issues across complex facilities.</p><p><br></p><p>The role requires a hands-on and technically confident individual who can coordinate between operations teams, clients, and specialist subcontractors to drive investigations and remedial actions through to completion.</p><p><br></p><p>The Project Manager will be site-based 5 days per week, working proactively to support client needs while managing highly varied technical and operational challenges across complex M&E systems.</p><p><br></p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>• Conduct technical investigations across systems including fire alarms, electrical infrastructure, compressors, freezers, water, and air systems</p><p>• Review commissioning records, O&M manuals, test results, and drawings to identify gaps and corrective actions</p><p>• Lead root-cause analysis activities and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders</p><p>• Coordinate recommissioning, testing, repairs, and remedial works with subcontractors and specialists</p><p>• Act as the key point of contact between client, operations teams, and contractors</p><p>• Support project controls including scopes of work, risk management, SHEQ/CDM compliance, and progress reporting</p><p>• Ensure all system documentation, asset data, and handover information is accurate and complete</p><p>• Identify additional system issues and manage them through to resolution</p><p>• Maintain strong stakeholder communication and contractor oversight throughout the project lifecycle</p><p><br></p><p>ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>• Proven Project Management experience within M&E, FM, or Building Services environments</p><p>• Strong technical xwzovoh understanding across mechanical, electrical, BMS, and life-safety systems</p><p>• Background in commissioning, technical investigations, engineering closeout, or remedial projects</p><p>• Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills</p><p>• Ability to work independently and proactively within a fast-paced environment</p><p>• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability</p><p>• Good understanding of CDM and SHEQ compliance</p><p>• Basic DBS required</p><p><br></p><p>DESIRABLE:</p><p>• Technical qualifications within Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction disciplines</p><p>• Previous experience within pharmaceutical or highly regulated environments</p><p>• Experience working within complex critical facilities or live operational sites</p>
