Are you an experienced engineer looking to make a significant impact in the water industry? Anglian Water is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our growing Maintenance Delivery team and help ensure the efficient delivery of capital programmes across our Water Supply assets.<br><br>About the Role: As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in enabling and coordinating project delivery while ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, technical specifications, operational requirements, and stakeholder needs.<br><br>You will work closely with operational colleagues, delivery teams, programme management, and other stakeholders to drive efficient project execution.<br><br>Key Responsibilities: Capital Maintenance Delivery: Support the end-to-end capital delivery process, ensuring maximum risk reduction and value for expenditure.<br><br>Programme Delivery: Coordinate and support the execution of regional maintenance programmes, ensuring accurate asset data management and monthly reporting.<br><br>Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with all stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy of project data and capturing efficiency data.<br><br>Health and Safety: Complete and comply with all operational site H&S requirements, undertake H&S audits, and produce CDM documentation.<br><br>Safer Every Day: Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety, ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained.<br><br>Qualifications & Experience: Appropriate engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) Knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations Strong IT literacy and commercial acumen Experience managing a capital budget and resource planning Experience within the water or wastewater environment (desirable not essential) Skills & Behaviours: Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills Strong and adaptable communication skills Ability to manage and prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines Resilient to feedback and challenge As a valued employee, you'll be entitled to: Personal private health care Generous double match pension<br>- contribute 7% and Anglian Water will contribute 14%, giving a total contribution of 21% 24-hour Virtual GP service for you and your household 26 days annual leave<br>- rising with length of service and the ability to buy more Life assurance (up to 8 x salary) Personal accident cover (up to 5 x salary) Excellent family friendly policies, such as 26 weeks full pay for maternity / adoption leave, as well as 4 weeks paid paternity / partner leave. xwzovoh <br><br>Opportunity for shared parental pay Bonus scheme Flexible benefits and working culture to support your wellbeing and lifestyle.<br><br>Closing date: 31/05/26 loveeverydrop
