Production Manager

Production Manager Belfast Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to lead the operational performance of Plumbing & Drainage production units within a manufacturing environment.<br><br>Considering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.<br><br>This role will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while meeting quality standards, delivery targets, and wider business objectives.<br><br>The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement, optimise resources, and build a high-performing and engaged production team.<br><br>Key Responsibilities <br>*Lead day-to-day production operations, ensuring outputs meet quality, specification, and delivery requirements <br>*Plan and schedule production activity in collaboration with Planning to maximise efficiency and resource utilisation <br>*Monitor machine performance, promote preventative maintenance, and work with Engineering to minimise downtime <br>*Track and improve key production KPIs relating to safety, quality, cost, waste, and delivery <br>*Lead departmental improvement plans to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workflow <br>*Drive process optimisation and identify opportunities to improve synergies across production areas <br>*Ensure production teams are appropriately resourced, trained, and supported <br>*Handle day-to-day employee relations matters in line with company policies and employment legislation <br>*Ensure quality standards and QA systems are followed and regularly reviewed <br>*Manage operational and material costs within agreed budgets <br>*Report weekly on production performance, workforce, and operational matters <br>*Prepare monthly performance reports for senior leadership <br>*Maintain accurate records relating to production output, scrap, training, timekeeping, xwzovoh and KPIs Requirements <br>*Minimum of 5 years management experience within a manufacturing environment <br>*Proven experience in a production or operations management role <br>*Experience using Lean Manufacturing tools including 5S, 5WHY, and SMED <br>*Strong understanding of materials management and production planning <br>*Strong IT skills, including MS Office, with advanced Excel capability <br>*Solid understanding of Health & Safety and quality compliance standards For more information on this role contact Zoey at Cpl Skills: Production Manager Business Unit Manager Senior team lead<br>TPBN1_NI
