<p><strong>Client:</strong></p><p><br><br>Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.<br></p><p>Our client a leading <strong>Multinational Semiconductor Wireless</strong> Organisation requires <strong>Principal Analog/RF Wireless Transceiver Design Engineer</strong> for role based in <strong>Reading, Berkshire, England.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>You will be required to be onsite 3 days per week. You will join an existing team of six Engineers. </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>You will play a crucial role in delivering the <strong>next generation of wireless transceiver</strong>s for world-leading UWB products. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in Automotive, Mobile, Industrial, IoT, and Consumer applications.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Create and develop high-quality <strong>Analog/RF systems </strong>and sub-systems using industry best practices for design, verification, and testing</li><li>Write verification plans and develop automated test benches</li><li>Create, document, and verify behavioral models of analog and analog-mixed-signal blocks (e.g., VerilogA/AMS, SystemVerilog-RNM, Wreal) to ensure they are optimized and up-to-date</li><li>Design and verify Analog/RF blocks and sub-blocks (e.g., <strong>Transmitter, PA</strong>, LNA, Filters, ADC, etc) to at least 20GHz using industry-standard tools and design flows</li><li>Collaborate with IC Layout Design Engineers to optimize design and layout</li><li>Ensure designs follow industry best practices, including Design-For-Test (DFT), isolation, and power optimization</li><li>Host design and verification reviews</li><li>Support lab evaluation, characterization, and testing</li><li>Collaborate with mixed signal, digital/systems, software, applications, and test teams to ensure products meet specifications on time and within budget</li><li>Drive continuous productivity improvements through enhanced work methodologies, efficient tool use, and thorough documentation</li><li>Mentor and guide employees and interns</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>12+ years of Analog/RF design experience (or an advanced degree with equivalent experience)</strong></li><li>Experience working on<strong> circuit design of Transceivers</strong></li><li>Excellent working xwzovoh knowledge of the <strong>Cadence Virtuoso </strong>design environment</li><li>Detailed design experience with analog/mixed-signal circuits on <strong>advanced CMOS nodes</strong></li><li>Demonstrate strong teamwork and interpersonal skills while being able to work independently on complex tasks</li><li>Clear and concise communication and presentation skills</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field</li><li>Experience with high-frequency RF designs</li><li>Experienced in getting chip designs to product release</li><li>Working knowledge of EM field solvers such as Momentum, EMX, HFSS</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Contact:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>For further information please contact Mícheál at Software Placements on or email </p>
