This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and understands the importance of strong relationships, consistency, and high expectations.</p><p>You will work with small class sizes, delivering a creative and flexible curriculum that meets the academic, emotional, and social needs of pupils who require additional support.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Deliver high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum within an APC setting</li><li>Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs</li><li>Use positive behaviour strategies to create a safe and structured learning environment</li><li>Plan lessons that are engaging, differentiated, and accessible</li><li>Track pupil progress and adapt provision accordingly</li><li>Work closely with support staff, families, and external professionals</li><li>Contribute to reintegration or personalised learning pathways where appropriate</li></ul><p>The Ideal Candidate Will Have</p><ul><li>Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)</li><li>Experience of working with pupils displaying challenging behaviour (AP, SEMH, SEND, or similar settings)</li><li>Strong behaviour management skills rooted in empathy and consistency</li><li>A calm, patient, and reflective approach</li><li>High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour</li><li>Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice</li><li>ECTs with relevant experience or placements are welcome to apply</li></ul><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>Small class sizes and high staff-to-pupil ratios</li><li>A supportive leadership team who prioritise staff wellbeing</li><li>Ongoing professional development in behaviour, trauma-informed practice, and SEND</li><li>Opportunity to make a meaningful difference to pupils’ lives</li><li>A welcoming, collaborative staff team</li></ul><p>Safeguarding</p><p>We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. xwzovoh All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.</p><p>How to Apply</p><p>Please submit an up-to-date CV</p>
