The Power Systems Engineer will design and integrate power architectures for next‑generation unmanned systems. This Power Systems Engineer role involves hands‑on development of robust energy solutions for long‑duration, harsh‑condition operation.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>• Architect power distribution and conversion systems for autonomous drones and remote sensor platforms</p><p>• Develop ruggedised uninterruptible power solutions and redundancy schemes for mission‑critical electronics</p><p>• Select components and design power modules suitable for wet, cold and high‑vibration environments</p><p>• Perform simulation, analysis and validation of power circuits and energy‑storage subsystems</p><p>• Work with electronics, firmware and mechanical teams to ensure reliable system‑level power integration</p><p>• Support environmental testing, field qualification and performance assessment</p><p>• Document designs, test plans and engineering reports for internal and external stakeholders</p><p><br></p><p>Requirements</p><p>• Background in power electronics, energy systems or hardware design</p><p>• Experience in DC‑DC converters, xwzovoh battery systems, UPS design or harsh‑environment electronics</p><p>• Ability to develop system‑level architectures and work across multidisciplinary teams</p><p>• Practical testing, fault‑finding and validation experience desirable</p><p>• Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related discipline</p><p><br></p><p>If you’re interested in the position of Power Systems Engineer, please apply or contact Chris Moffatt for more details.</p>
