<p>Job Description</p><br>Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.<br><p>Platform Engineer (eDV Cleared):</p><p>Contract Details:</p><ul><li>Start: ASAP to 30 September 2026 - to be extended</li><li>Full-time, onsite</li><li>Location: UK South</li><li>Rate: opened to conversation </li><li>SFIA level 4–6</li><li>Clearance: eDV active - Mandatory</li></ul><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Build, operate and maintain Kubernetes platforms with a focus on OpenShift</li><li>Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based platform services</li><li>Manage container orchestration, scheduling and cluster lifecycle</li><li>Configure and support networking including DNS, load balancing, ingress/egress and network security</li><li>Automate platform operations using infrastructure-as-code</li><li>Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, including root cause analysis</li><li>Support upgrades, patching and capacity planning</li><li>Contribute to platform standards, documentation and best practice</li></ul><p>Skills and Experience:</p><ul><li>Strong hands-on Linux administration in production environments</li><li>Proven Kubernetes operations and troubleshooting experience</li><li>OpenShift expertise including operators, RBAC, routes and image streams xwzovoh </li><li>Solid networking knowledge across TCP/IP, DNS, routing and security</li><li>Experience with container technologies such as Docker or CRI-O</li><li>Experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana and ELK</li><li>Strong problem-solving ability in complex, distributed systems</li></ul>
