The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential to our operations. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials. They should also be able to check vehicles in and out at hire commencement/cessation and order necessary parts to get the vehicle back through our workshop for rehire.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of goods and services.<br>Track purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and manage supplier data.<br>Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms and ensure quality standards are met.<br>Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, optimising supply chain efficiency.<br>Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.<br>Maintain accurate records of transactions for audit purposes. Raising of purchase orders through our through our in-house system.<br>Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide effective solutions.<br>Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulations throughout the purchasing process.<br>Capable to sign vehicles in and out of our yard at hire commencement.<br>Experience<br><br>Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles within automotive environment.<br>Demonstrable negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable terms with suppliers.<br>Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control practices.<br>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.<br>Effective communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers. xwzovoh <br>Previous Motor trade experience working within a structured procurement framework is highly desirable.<br>Mon - Fri: 7am - 5pm<br><br>Benefits:<br><br>Company pension<br>On-site parking
