<p><strong>PARAPLANNER – HNW FINANCIAL PLANNING</strong></p><p><br><br>The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.<br></p><p>£50,000 – £55,000 | PERFORMANCE RELATED BONUS | BRISTOL | HYBRID WORKING</p><p><br></p><p>This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join one of the South West's most exciting financial planning businesses at a pivotal point in its growth story.</p><p><br></p><p>Our client is a fast-growing, independently owned wealth management firm based in Bristol, founded by some of the most experienced and well-regarded professionals in the industry. The business has ambitious growth plans and is already building a strong reputation for delivering outstanding holistic financial planning to HNW and UHNW clients with c£750,000 and above in investable assets. With a highly experienced advisory team in place and significant expansion planned over the coming months, this is a business on a genuinely exciting trajectory.</p><p><br></p><p>They are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join the team and play a central role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, complex financial planning advice. This is a role with real scope…as the business grows, there is a clear opportunity for the right person to develop into a senior paraplanning position and ultimately lead the paraplanning function.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The role:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare high-quality suitability reports and letters across all areas of financial planning including pensions, investments, IHT, estate planning, and protection</li><li>Conduct detailed research and analysis to support the advisory team in delivering tailored recommendations to HNW and UHNW clients</li><li>Provide technical support to Financial Planners throughout the advice process</li><li>Carry out cashflow modelling and investment analysis</li><li>Liaise with providers, platforms, and third parties to ensure efficient processing of new business</li><li>Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation meets FCA compliance standards</li><li>Support continuous improvement of paraplanning processes and systems as the business grows</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What we are looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>An experienced Paraplanner with a solid track record of producing high-quality suitability reports in a financial planning environment</li><li>Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent) as a minimum — Chartered status or working towards it would be a real advantage</li><li>Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, IHT, trusts, and tax-efficient planning</li><li>Experience working with HNW clients and complex cases</li><li>Highly organised xwzovoh with excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail</li><li>Someone who is motivated by being part of a growing business and wants to develop their career alongside it</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What is on offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Basic salary of £50,000 to £55,000 depending on experience</li><li>Performance related bonus</li><li>Hybrid working</li><li>A genuine opportunity to grow with the business and develop into a senior leadership position within the paraplanning function</li><li>The chance to work alongside some of the most experienced and respected financial planning professionals in the South West</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you are an experienced Paraplanner looking for a role with real substance, a high-quality client base, and genuine career progression in a business that is going places, then please get in touch!</p>
