DETAILS: Rural Northwest Health is committed to achieving the best health for the Wimmera and Mallee community.<br><br>Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.<br><br>Warracknabeal campus is one of three campuses and provides a comprehensive range of acute, urgent care, aged care, community health and allied services.<br><br>Warracknabeal campus is located, a short distance from Warracknabeal’s central business district and approximately halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne.<br><br>Rural Northwest Health in seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Acute and Urgent Care centre at the Warracknabeal Campus.<br><br>The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for the operational effectiveness of the designated unit, including the day-to-day management of the clinical area, rosters, quality and safety for all, effective utilisation of resources, equipment and facilities and performance development and management of the clinical team.<br><br>The successful candidate will have: • Relevant post graduate training or education in aged care, acute medical or emergency nursing.<br><br>• Relevant post-graduate education in leadership and management, or plans to undertake.<br><br>• Demonstrated competence in leading and managing a team to deliver services that ensures safe, person-centered care.<br><br>• Knowledge of key guidelines and frameworks relevant to the role, including but not limited to Safe Patient Care Act, Code Grey requirements, National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.<br><br>• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.<br><br>• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage rosters and workforce needs.<br><br>• Adaptability to competing demands.<br><br>• Annual Flu vaccination.<br><br>• Current Police Clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Check, or willingness to obtain.<br><br>• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.<br><br>What is on offer: • Personal and professional development opportunities.<br><br>• Generous salary packaging benefits.<br><br>• Employee Assistance Program.<br><br>• A progressive, friendly, and supportive team environment.<br><br>• Assistance with accommodation if required.<br><br>To Apply By clicking on 'Apply Now' you will register your interest to work. xwzovoh <br><br>Once your CV/Resume has been received, a Recruitment Consultant will be in touch.<br><br>To speak to our Nursing Team directly and discuss this opportunity, please email your enquiry/CV to our enquiries team at or call us on
