Non-Medical Prescriber

<p>Service Care Solutions are working in partnership with a National Social Care Service who are looking to recruit a Non-medical Prescriber to join their team. Please find a description of the role below. </p><p><br><br>Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.<br></p><p><strong>Role:</strong> Non-medical Prescriber </p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Manchester </p><p><strong>Salary: </strong>£43.84 - £48.18 per hour (PAYE inc.) / £50 - £55 per hour (umbrella/ltd) </p><p><strong>Contract: </strong>3 months </p><p><strong>Working:</strong> On-site (37.5 hours per week)</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Role Overview: </u></strong></p><ul><li>Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care for individuals accessing treatment services. </li><li>Conduct clinical assessments and develop appropriate care plans. </li><li>Assess suitability for inpatient alcohol and opioid detoxification. </li><li>Review and manage service users’ treatment plans proactively. </li><li>Initiate and adjust prescriptions for opioid/alcohol substitute treatments and related medications. </li><li>Lead the prescribing clinic and act as a key contact for prescribing queries. </li><li>Provide cover for the Homeless Team Non-Medical Prescriber when required. </li><li>Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber. </li><li>Minimum one year’s recent experience in substance misuse treatment. </li><li>Strong knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion. </li><li>Skilled in assessment, recovery planning and report writing. </li><li>Confident verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Full driving licence and ability to travel between services as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you are interested in the role, or know anyone who may be, please contact Marc at Service Care Solutions on or email </p><p><br></p><p>Service Care Solutions also offers a £150 referral bonus! xwzovoh So, if you know of anyone who would be perfect for this position and they are placed into work, you will receive £150 for the referral once their probationary period has been completed.</p><p><br></p><p>If you have any questions or queries, please don’t not hesitate to ask.</p>
