The successful applicant will be a mechanical and electrical biased Engineer who has sound experience within a Manufacturing environment. Only applicants with a time served apprenticeship and 18th edition qualification will be considered.</p><p>Role: Multi Skilled Engineer (mechanical and electrical bias)</p><p>Location: 5 Spring Rd, Kitt Green, Orrell, Wigan WN5 0JL</p><p>Salary: £22.13ph (basic)</p><p>£26.56ph. (double days)</p><p>£28.95ph (mid week GM)</p><p>£31ph (nights)</p><p>Shift Patterns: 3X rotating shift pattern.</p><p>Morning shift: 06:00-14:00 (Mon-Wed) 06:00-13:00 (Thu) and 07:00-15:00 (Fri)</p><p>Afternoon shift: 14:00-22:00 (Mon-Wed) 13:00-20:00 (Wed)</p><p>Nights shift: 22:00-06:00 (Mon-Wed) 22:00-07:00 (Thu)</p><p>Start: ASAP</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Working within the shift team to maintain assets within the operational areas</li><li>Ensuring equipment delivers maximum volume at maximum quality</li><li>Working with production and engineering managers and technicians to rapidly resolve line breakdown</li><li>Identifying root cause analysis efficiently and in a timely manner to bring equipment back into use as soon as possible</li><li>Seeking cost effective improvements to ensure reliability of equipment</li><li>Conducting PPM and reactive maintenance using electrical control system, automation and mechanical skill</li><li>Diagnosing faults on mechanical and electrical equipment</li><li>Testing mechanical and electrical equipment</li><li>Working to improve maintenance KPI's</li><li>Ensuring a high level of Health and Safety at all times as well as ensuring all activity is risk accessed</li><li>Reporting maintenance tasks on SAP</li></ul><p>A full list of responsibilities can be provided upon request</p><p>Essential requirements:</p><ul><li>Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (due to nature of site and shift timings)</li><li>Time served engineering apprenticeship within an Engineering discipline</li><li>NVQ level 3/HNC/ONC Mechanical or Electrical qualification</li><li>18th Edition qualified</li><li>5 years+ experience within Maintenance engineering</li><li>Experience within a Manufacturing environment (2+years)</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skill</li><li>Excellent knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation</li><li>Good level of IT literacy and engineering systems</li><li>IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (desirable)</li><li>Previous experience using SAP (desirable)</li></ul><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Advice and editing on your current CV</li><li>Dedicated team throughout your journey within the role</li><li>Paid holiday</li><li>Exclusive online services including restaurant and retail discounts</li><li>Chance to receive £300* for referring a friend</li><li>Opportunity for progression into permanent roles</li><li>Competitive rates of pay</li></ul><p>Does this role sound interesting?
