<p>Job Description</p><br>Check you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.<br><p>Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer (Night Shifts)</p><p>Location: BorehamwoodSalary: Competitive(Nights only)</p><p>The Role</p><ul><li>An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Night Shift Maintenance Engineer to support a high-precision production environment.</li><li>The role is fully nights and plays a key part in ensuring machinery reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across site.</li><li>This is a hands-on position suited to an engineer comfortable working autonomously on nights while maintaining high safety and quality standards.</li></ul><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across CNC and manufacturing equipment</li><li>Respond to breakdowns and perform fault-finding to minimise downtime</li><li>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults</li><li>Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives</li><li>Ensure all work complies with health & safety procedures, including isolations and permits</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to root cause analysis</li></ul><p>Equipment & Environment</p><ul><li>CNC machinery (lathes, mills, machining centres)</li><li>Automated and semi-automated production equipment</li><li>Precision manufacturing / machining environment</li></ul><p>About You</p><ul><li>Proven experience in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment</li><li>Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., Indentured Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering.</li><li>Strong mechanical background with electrical fault-finding capability</li><li>PPM and Breakdown/Reactive maintenance experience </li><li>Experience assembling complex mechanical assemblies.</li><li>Experience optimising processes and procedures to improve output.</li><li>Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery.</li><li>Experience maintaining CNC and automated machinery</li><li>Comfortable working independently on a night shift</li><li>Recognised engineering qualification (mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled)</li></ul><p>What’s on Offer</p><ul><li>Competitive Salary - (night shift)</li><li>Flexible time off: 25 days of paid holiday, a paid birthday off, and remote-friendly working.</li><li>Comprehensive Pension Scheme: Secure your future with their robust pension scheme.</li><li>Cutting-Edge Tech Office Environment: Work in a modern, tech-driven office environment equipped with the latest tools and technology.</li><li>Medical Insurance: Protect yourself with our comprehensive medical insurance plan. xwzovoh </li><li>Stable, long-term role in a well-invested manufacturing environment</li><li>Modern equipment and strong maintenance culture</li></ul><p>Contact Rio Andre for more info on the role.</p>
