Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their site in North Shields.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and forward-thinking company, offering long-term progression and a strong benefits package.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Carry out mechanical fault finding, repair, and overhaul</li><li>Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems</li><li>Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM)</li><li>Electrical fault finding using drawings to diagnose hard-wired faults</li><li>PLC fault finding (Siemens TIA Portal desirable)</li><li>Installation and commissioning of electro-mechanical equipment</li><li>Use of machine shop equipment including lathe and milling machines</li><li>Welding (MIG and stick) where required</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Time-served Maintenance Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)</li><li>Multi-skilled with both electrical and mechanical experience</li><li>Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment</li><li>PLC fault finding experience (any platform considered)</li><li>HNC in Engineering desirable</li><li>Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>If this role is of interest, please apply. xwzovoh Alternatively, feel free to get in touch via email or give me a call for a confidential chat.Email:Direct Line:
