If so, <strong>Noble Foods </strong>wants you on our engineering team.</p><p><br></p><p>We’re looking for a <strong>multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a strong electrical bias and solid mechanical experience</strong> to help keep our high-volume poultry processing site operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.</p><p><br></p><p> The Role</p><p>Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our production and site services equipment. This is a practical, varied role where no two days are the same.</p><p><br></p><p>You’ll be:</p><ul><li>Responding quickly to breakdowns and carrying out effective electrical and mechanical fault-finding</li><li>Maintaining and repairing production machinery including conveyors, evisceration equipment, packing machines, and chillers</li><li>Completing planned preventative maintenance and supporting continuous improvement</li><li>Fault-finding on PLC-controlled systems, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels</li><li>Carrying out mechanical work on gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic fabrication</li><li>Working closely with production and hygiene teams to minimise downtime</li><li>Supporting shutdowns, installations, and site engineering projects</li><li>Recording all work accurately using the site CMMS</li><li>Ensuring all tasks meet strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards</li></ul><p><br></p><p> What We’re Looking For</p><p>You’ll be a confident, safety-focused engineer who can think on their feet in a high-volume environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential:</strong></p><ul><li>Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)</li><li>Multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical bias</li><li>Solid mechanical fault-finding experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Good working knowledge of PLC fault-finding, motors, inverters, sensors, and control systems</li><li>Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics</li><li>Understanding of permit-to-work, isolation, and lock-off procedures</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in food, FMCG, or poultry processing environments</li></ul><p><br></p><p> Training & Development</p><p><br></p><p>We invest in our people.
