This role would suit someone with experience in vehicle mechanics, auto electrics, or adaptation installations who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service.<br>From day one, you'll receive ongoing training and support to develop your knowledge across our full range of products and vehicle adaptation systems.<br>What We Offer<br>Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided<br>Competitive salary with overtime opportunities<br>Ongoing training and development<br>Opportunity to join a growing and evolving business<br>23 days holiday plus bank holidays<br>Holiday purchase scheme (option to purchase up to 3 additional days)<br>Salary sacrifice car leasing scheme<br>Employer contribution pension scheme from Day 1<br>Life Insurance Cover<br>Profit Related Pay<br>Employee Assistance Programme<br>The Role<br>As a Mobile Adaptation Installer, you'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality installations, servicing, and repairs of vehicle adaptations at customer homes, dealerships, and partner locations across the region.<br>This is a field-based role requiring excellent technical ability, strong organisation, and a professional, customer-focused approach.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Installing a wide range of vehicle adaptations including: Hand controls, Left foot accelerators, Steering aids, Hoists and access equipment & Transfer plates and seating solutions.<br>Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults on adaptation systems<br>Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance work on installed equipment<br>Reading and interpreting technical instructions and wiring diagrams<br>Completing all job sheets, installation records, and supporting documentation accurately<br>Providing product demonstrations and handovers to customers following installation<br>Liaising professionally with customers, dealerships, and internal teams<br>Managing your daily workload and appointments effectively<br>Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards<br>Maintaining high standards of health & safety when working on-site and at customer premises<br>About You<br>We're looking for someone who is technically capable, highly organised, and passionate about delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.<br>Essential Skills & Experience<br>Previous experience in vehicle adaptation installation OR a strong background in: Vehicle Mechanics & Auto Electrics. xwzovoh <br>Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills<br>Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and wiring diagrams<br>Understanding of working on electric vehicles (EVs)<br>Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points<br>Excellent time management and ability to work independently<br>Comfortable working under pressure and managing regional travel<br>Willingness to stay away overnight when required<br>Desirable<br>Experience working with mobility or accessibility equipment<br>Knowledge of Motability Scheme processes<br>Previous experience in a field-based/mobile engineering role<br>Basic welding and fabrication skills<br>Personal Attributes<br>Customer-focused with a professional and empathetic approach<br>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality<br>Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive<br>Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving ability<br>Team player with excellent communication skills<br>Apply Today<br>If you're looking for a rewarding engineering role where your work has a genuine impact on people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.<br>No agencies please.
