<p><strong>MEP Manager</strong></p><p> London region</p><p> £95k basic (DOE) + £6k travel allowance + bonus + full package</p><p><br><br>The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.<br></p><p><strong>About the Company</strong></p><p><br></p><p>This is a fast-growing, design-led residential developer focused exclusively on London. With significant investment into the capital’s housing market in recent years, the business is continuing to scale at pace.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p><br></p><p>As MEP Manager, you will take ownership of all mechanical, electrical and public health systems across multiple residential schemes — from acquisition through to handover.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a key role within the construction team, requiring strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to drive coordination across consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Project Planning & Coordination</strong></p><p>• Review and challenge MEP designs to ensure compliance, efficiency and value</p><p>• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and wider design teams</p><p>• Develop and implement Testing & Commissioning programmes (minimum 6 months prior to PC)</p><p>• Oversee phased testing strategies to support staged occupation</p><p>• Support the commercial team during procurement, including contractor selection</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Delivery & Quality Assurance</strong></p><p>• Oversee installation of all MEP systems across projects</p><p>• Carry out site inspections, factory visits and progress reviews</p><p>• Lead technical problem-solving to maintain programme</p><p>• Chair coordination and progress meetings</p><p>• Manage ITPs and QA processes, ensuring Golden Thread compliance</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Subcontractor Management</strong></p><p>• Select, manage and monitor MEP subcontractors and suppliers</p><p>• Review RAMS and ensure full compliance with H&S and quality standards</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Commercial & Technical Input</strong></p><p>• Advise on heating and cooling strategies</p><p>• Identify and drive value engineering opportunities</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Compliance & Handover</strong></p><p>• Ensure full compliance with building regulations and environmental standards</p><p>• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting</p><p>• Support Gateway 2 & 3 submissions</p> xwzovoh <p><br></p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Proven experience as an MEP Manager within residential construction</p><p>• Strong technical knowledge across MEP systems and current regulations</p><p>• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously</p><p>• Excellent coordination, leadership and communication skills</p><p>• Proactive, self-motivated and solutions-driven</p><p>• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar)</p><p>• Project management qualification (e.g. PMP) desirable</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What’s on Offer</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• £95k basic salary (DOE)</p><p>• £6k travel allowance</p><p>• Discretionary bonus</p><p>• Private medical insurance</p><p>• Pension & life assurance</p><p>• 25 days holiday + bank holidays (with buy/sell scheme)</p>
