The M&E Sales Manager role is responsible for proactively generating enquiries for events and passing to the reactive event sales team. Part of the proactive sales team, this position reports into the Assistant Director of Sales at the hotel.<br>About the role<br>The Meeting & Event Sales Manager will proactively identify, source and target MICE and Events business for the hotel.<br>Generate enquiries from local corporate clients and MICE agents and venue sourcing platforms.<br>Work closely with the reactive event sales team to convert high-value enquiries.<br>Develop relationships with key clients and agents to ensure repeat business.<br>Hold site visits and client visits as required.<br>Produce event activity reports and forecasts as required.<br>What we are looking for<br>Proactive hotel MICE sales experience is essential.<br>Current experience within the central London area is highly desirable.<br>A proven track record of successful proactive event sales is essential.<br>A self-motivated, detail-focused and can-do proactive attitude is required.<br>Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and close attention to detail.<br>Benefits of the role:<br>Work with a beautiful and recently refurbished hotel in central London.<br>Be part of a superb sales team with great colleagues to work with and learn from.<br>Enjoy a fun and supportive culture at the hotel where everyone is valued and staff turnover is very low.<br>The best staff canteen in London! xwzovoh Breakfast, lunch and dinner!
