You’ll own electronics design end-to-end, influence how products reach manufacture, and work hands-on with complex electro-mechanical systems. Salary £60,000 to £65,000 plus strong benefits.</p><p><br><br>Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.<br></p><p><strong>Scope of the Role</strong></p><p>As a Mechatronics Engineer, you'll be responsible for owning electronics design within highly integrated electromechanical products, taking concepts through to technical file transfer.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead schematic design, PCB layout oversight, debugging and hands-on board bring-up</li><li>Own electronics design data, revision control and change processes</li><li>Collaborate on electromechanical design with mechanical and software engineers</li><li>Drive electronics design for manufacture, assembly, test and production transfer</li><li>Support risk management activities within regulated electro-mechanical systems</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Skills and Experience Required</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Mechatronics Engineer delivering products into manufacture</li><li>Professional schematic capture and PCB design for shipped electro-mechanical systems</li><li>Hands-on debugging, fault-finding and modification of electronic assemblies</li><li>Experience working in regulated environments with documentation and change control</li><li>Strong collaboration skills with Mechatronics Engineer, mechanical and software peers</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Salary and Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>£60,000 to £65,000 basic salary</li><li>Hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week on-site in Leeds</li><li>Increased on-site time during build, test and verification phases</li><li>Pension contribution and standard benefits package</li><li>Opportunity to reduce reliance on external consultancies and build in-house capability</li></ul><p><br></p><p>You’ll be joining a close-knit engineering group that values clear thinking, practical decision-making and shared ownership.
