Mechanical Foreman

Our client is a well-established UK energy engineering business who specialise in the design, installation and long-term maintenance of commercial and industrial HVAC systems are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Foreman to support and supervise mechanical installation works across a number of commercial and industrial projects.<br><br>Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.<br><br>The successful candidate will oversee site based mechanical installation teams delivering plant room installations, system upgrades and full heating system installations within commercial and industrial environments.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Supervising and coordinating mechanical installation teams on site<br>Overseeing installation and replacement of commercial and industrial heating systems<br>Managing plant room installation and refurbishment works<br>Supervising installation of HVAC plant and associated pipework<br>Working with equipment including boilers, pumps, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, chillers and associated pipework<br>Ensuring all work is carried out in line with project specifications, drawings and schedules<br>Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and technical schematics<br>Monitoring site progress and reporting to project managers and engineering teams<br>Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, site procedures and industry standards<br>Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site organisation<br>Coordinating with engineers, project managers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery<br><br>Essential Requirements<br><br>Proven experience working within commercial or industrial mechanical installations xwzovoh <br>Previous experience in a supervisory or foreman role within mechanical or HVAC projects<br>Strong knowledge of plant room equipment and commercial pipework systems<br>Experience installing equipment such as boilers, pumps, pressurisation systems, chillers and HVAC plant<br>Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications<br>Good understanding of site health and safety and compliance requirements<br>CSCS/SSSTS/SMSTS qualified<br>Full UK driving licence<br>Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
