Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm Choice of base locations<br><br>Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.<br>- Manchester, Rotherham.<br><br>Birmingham or Milton Keynes Benefit from extensive learning and development opportunities About Pulsant Pulsant is a leading UK digital infrastructure provider, offering innovative edge infrastructure solutions through our PlatformEdge.<br><br>With 14 strategically located data centres and a dedicated team of around 300 professionals (with an average tenure of 7 years), we support around 700 clients services across the UK with critical cloud, connectivity, and compute services.<br><br>The role: The M&E Regional Lead in an on-site role, responsible for ensuring all electrical and mechanical works within Pulsant's Central region data centres are delivered safely, compliantly and to required standards.<br><br>This is a newly created role due to growth in Pulsant's estate in the central region of the UK.<br><br>Leading a small team of engineers, the role includes performing Senior AP duties and providing technical leadership across all M&E activity.<br><br>The Central region includes Manchester, Rotherham.<br><br>Birmingham and Milton Keynes and we are flexible as to where this candidate will be based.<br><br>Key responsibilities: Oversee high-and critical-risk mechanical and electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programmes.<br><br>Ensure all works adhere to Pulsants safe systems of work and minimise operational risk.<br><br>Provide technical leadership and support to Data Centre Managers.<br><br>Review and approve high- and critical-risk change requests and participate in CAB as required.<br><br>Perform HV and LV Senior Authorised Person duties.<br><br>Lead training and development programmes for regional M&E engineers.<br><br>Maintain compliance across all sites, including statutory requirements (PSSR, LOLA, L8, F-Gas, etc.).<br><br>Support incident response activities and subsequent root cause analysis.<br><br>Manage the regional operational risk register and associated controls.<br><br>Support asset lifecycle planning and influence CAPEX requirements.<br><br>Contribute to preventive maintenance programme improvements.<br><br>Identify and implement technical enhancements to improve building operations.<br><br>Act as a primary technical resource for site engineers and management teams.<br><br>Travel between sites as required, with occasional out-of-hours availability.<br><br>What / who we're looking for: Experienced multi-skilled senior engineer, with supervisory experience Experience maintaining and repairing mission critical infrastructure and operations, including cooling and power systems (e.g.<br><br>stand by generators) Data centre industry experience is desirable but not essential Recognised formal electrical training (e.g.<br><br>City & Guilds) Full UK driving licence.<br><br>Pulsant offers: A supportive work environment with a focus on career growth, development, work life balance and well-being.<br><br>A friendly, family-like atmosphere where almost half of the team have been with Pulsant for 5 years Benefits include 5% pension, private healthcare, electric vehicle scheme, cycle to work scheme, free breakfast and snacks, Udemy license and more. xwzovoh <br><br>?
