Marketing Executive, Content & Social<br><br>Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.<br>Salary - Up to £40,000 per annum Schedule - Full Time<br>Experience - 1 to 3 years of experience in social, content, community or brand marketing, ideally in hospitality, food, lifestyle or a similar consumer facing space<br>Hoppers is on the lookout for a dedicated and dynamic Marketing Executive, Content & Social to become an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will be approachable, personable and passionate about the London dining scene.<br>Hoppers has a strong voice, a wealth of raw material, and plenty worth talking about. Were looking for a Marketing Executive who can turn that into smart, consistent and well-organised storytelling across social, email, the website, and day-to-day brand activity.<br>This role is for someone who does more than just post content. Were looking for someone with a sharp eye, strong instincts for tone, and the organisational discipline to turn every launch, event, review, creator visit or collaboration into a steady stream of engaging content and meaningful communication.<br>About Hoppers<br>Hoppers was founded by JKS Restaurants and Karan Gokani in October 2015. The first Hoppers in Soho was inspired by toddy shops, home cooking and roadside stalls of Sri Lanka and South India, and served its namesake Hoppers alongside Dosas, Kothu, Short Eats, Rice and Roasts. The acclaim soon followed with reviews from London Evenings Standards Fay Maschler and the late Sunday Times critic A.A. Gill who applauded Hoppers for its seductive, comehither menu and spectacular, impressive, authentic, confident and swaggering kitchen.The restaurant went on to secure its Michelin Bib Gourmand in its first year.<br>Following the success of Hoppers Soho, a second Hoppers at Marylebones St Christophers Place, themed around the iconic Tropical Modernist movement of the late Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa, opening in September 2017. Hoppers Kings Cross, the third and largest of the three restaurants opened in February 2020 inspired by the much-travelled coastal journey from Colombo, the islands capital, to the historical Dutch town of Galle.<br>Our brand new Hoppers in Shoreditch inside the iconic Tea Builing is now open. Marking ten years since we opened Soho, our new restaurant looks ahead to the new chapter, with plenty of new dishes, drinks and stories to share.<br>In the past ten years Hoppers has won several awards and is recognised as one of the leading South Asian restaurant brands in the UK and internationally. Over the coming years, Hoppers has plans to grow across the UK and Internationally providing numerous opportunities for its team members to develop and take on new and exciting roles.<br>The role<br>You will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Growth & Brand and the founder, helping keep the Hoppers voice warm, clear and distinctive while making sure more of our best moments are captured, repurposed and properly shared.<br>Core outcomes for the role:<br>Keep Hoppers social channels active, well judged and consistent in tone<br>Turn restaurant moments, launches, reviews, press, collaborations, founder activity and UGC into useful content across multiple channels<br>Help build a stronger content and communications rhythm across social, newsletter, website and on site launches<br>Support community management and creator or VIP follow up so good moments travel further online<br>Maintain a high standard of day to day execution, from copy and scheduling to asset organisation and website updates<br>Key responsibilities:<br>Manage day to day social publishing across key channels, including feed posts, reels, stories and lighter reactive content<br>Build and maintain a practical content calendar in line with the wider marketing plan<br>Capture or coordinate capture of content across sites, launches, special menus, collaborations, creator visits and events<br>Repurpose assets intelligently, turning one strong moment into multiple outputs across social, email, website and internal content banks<br>Write copy for social posts, stories, newsletters, web updates, menus, flyers and campaign materials in the Hoppers voice<br>Draft and build newsletters, working with the Senior Marketing Manager on segmentation, timing and campaign purpose<br>Keep the website up to date with relevant launches, menus, news and event information<br>Monitor community activity across social channels, including comments, tags, re shares and user generated content opportunities<br>Organise content libraries so assets are easy to find, reuse and brief to designers or editors<br>Coordinate with external editors, photographers, designers or freelance creators where needed<br>Track basic content and channel performance, sharing useful observations and opportunities with the wider team<br>Support live amplification around key moments, including launches, openings, collaborations, founder press, VIP visits and special events<br>Benefits & Culture Our team is the most important part of our business, translating our passion for genuine hospitality to our guests every day.
