Market Access Developer (C++)

<p>We are partnering with a top-tier global quantitative trading firm operating at the forefront of technology, data, and financial markets.</p><p><br><br>The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.<br></p><p>They are seeking a <strong>C++ Market Access Developer</strong> to join a world-class engineering team responsible for building and evolving ultra-low latency systems that power global trading connectivity.</p><p><br></p><p>In this role, you will work on the core infrastructure that connects internal trading systems directly to global exchanges and liquidity venues. You will design, build, and enhance high-performance market access gateways and market data systems where precision, speed, and reliability are critical.</p><p><br></p><p>You will take ownership of end-to-end exchange connectivity, including onboarding new brokers and venues, implementing protocol changes, and ensuring production stability of mission-critical trading flows. The work spans high-performance systems engineering, real-time optimisation, and hands-on production support in a fast-moving environment.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a highly collaborative role working closely with traders, quants, and infrastructure teams, where engineering decisions have direct impact on live trading performance across global markets.</p><p><br></p><p><strong> Required Skills & Experience</strong></p><p>5+ years of professional C++ development on Linux</p><p>Strong experience with Python and Bash scripting</p><p>Proven experience designing multithreaded and/or distributed systems</p><p>Hands-on experience with trading gateways or market xwzovoh data feed handlers</p><p>Strong understanding of low-latency system design and optimisation techniques</p><p>Experience working with production-grade, high-availability systems</p><p>Strong debugging skills in complex real-time systems</p><p>Experience with exchange connectivity, broker integration, or market access systems</p><p>Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD)</p><p>Excellent communication and ability to work across technical and business teams</p>
